“Visions of Freedom” – SPJ, Black Student Alliance,
LatinoAmericanos and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual,
Transgender, Ally Alliance (LGBTAA): The Gallery, ISU
Memorial Union, 7-8:30 p.m.
The Program – Each student organization will present an
iconic photograph depicting freedom and discuss its
significance. The organizations choose the presenter.
Each presenter will have 15 minutes to speak. After the
presentations, there will be a 20-minute roundtable
discussion on freedom.
Presenters – BSA, Dione Somerville, Dean of Students;
SPJ, Barbara Mack, associate professor of journalism;
LatinoAmericanos, David Ernesto Romero and Claudia
Marcela Prado-Meza; LGBTAA, Warren Blumenfeld, assistant
professor in curriculum and instruction.
Moderator – Rashah McChesney.

8:20 to 8:30.
